What he may not share with me in this journey, is the overwhelming urge to "ooh" and "aww" over every little teeny weeny piece of adorable baby clothing we are given.
A friend gave us some wonderful little newborn outfits. One of them is this ducky sleep sack.
(You really wanted to "ooh" and "aww" there, didn't you!)
After about the fourth item of equal "adorableness" that I unpacked, I finally told Travis:
"Honey, since you are the only other person in this house right now besides Hank, and Hank is a dog and can't talk, can you just patronize me every time I say "ooh" and "aww" and respond with something like, "That is really cute! I can't wait to see our baby in it!"
We laughed, but I think secretly he can't wait until baby is big enough to wear boots and jeans!
